Assistant Finance Manager

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Uniform System (USALI) standards.

  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, company policies, and international accounting principles.

  • Supervise daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process; monitor and analyze budget variances.

  • Assist in preparing management reports and financial analysis to support operational decision-making.

  • Maintain robust internal control procedures to safeguard hotel assets.

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete.

  • Participate in cost control initiatives, providing insights to improve profitability.

  • Oversee the month-end closing process and ensure timely submission of reports to head office.

  • Train and guide junior finance team members to maintain a high standard of accounting practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA is a plus).

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience within an international hotel environment.

  • Strong knowledge of Uniform System.

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Proficiency in hotel accounting systems (e.g., Opera or similar) and Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
