Assistant Logistics Manager (Chemical Industry) #JTL

• Process orders received from sales or customers for APAC customers
• Liaise with respective parties (i.e. DK India planners, Shipping team and International support forwarder, customer agent, transporter) for smooth order execution.
• Consolidations of orders to the best possible extent.
• Follow up on orders and shipping documents for on time receiving and invoicing and sales recognition.
• Liaise with warehouse for the most cost-effective order preparation, to meet customer requested date.
• Sourcing of the most cost-effective transporter and forwarder to fulfill customers’ orders timely.
• Coordinate incoming import Isotanker port clearance and delivery to customer to avoid port demurrage.
• Evaluate and monitor the transporter / forwarder performance.
• Provide shipping documents to customers, prepare insurance for each shipments.
• Provide weekly open order reports to customers, sales and to management.
• Receive import shipping documents for DKSG Check documents completeness and submit to forwarders.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in discipline.
• Preferably with 5-6 years of relevant experiences.
• Knowledge in Logistics, Import/Export/LC/Customer Service, Purchasing.
• Proficient in Oracle, SAP, Microsoft office
