F&A / Reinsurance-Assistant Manager

Key Responsibility Areas including preferred Skills and Experience

  • Handling Life reinsurance contracts- Treaty and FAC, review of the contracts and policy cession correction
  • Preparing bordereaux, XOL and FAC billings to be sent to brokers/Reinsurers
  • Invoice review, Receivable/Payables reconciliation & settlement
  • Claims handling from initial notice, billing and collections from brokers/Reinsurers.
  • Cash booking, allocation and reconciliations
  • Handle market and auditor queries
  • Manual JE prep and topside allocation for ceded premium and claims
  • Calculation of Ceded Net Amount of Risk and delayed claim interest, booking of claims accrual
  • Collateral review and management
  • Management reporting
  • Schedule S reporting

  • Bachelor’s degree or Post Graduate in Commerce with overall 5+ years of experience for AM.
    • 2+ years of experience in the field of Reinsurance operations or accounting for AM
  • Client management experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (IF functions, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, PIVOT, INDEXMATCH) and PowerPoint
  • Desirable-Experience in Life Reinsurance preferred

Knowledge of TAI preferred.
