Assistant Manager

The role involves procurement of tech items and services from A1 to B2 and C1 to C2, along with negotiation skills and spend analytics.

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • 4-6 years of operational experience as part of the FP&A, General Accounting functions
  • Strong accounting knowledge
  • Has supported analysis before and can execute clearly defined requests independently once scoped. Not expected to set strategy.
  • Comfortable building and maintaining structured Excel models using existing templates and logic. Can adapt assumptions but not redesign whole frameworks alone.
  • Can run, adapt, and extend existing Python scripts with guidance. Not expecting to architect new modelling approaches from scratch.
  • Can apply assumptions and flag issues clearly, with direction on how cautious or directional the output should be.
  • Produces clean tables and draft slides that are logically structured but expects senior review for final narrative and framing.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines when priorities are set; escalate conflicts rather than self-prioritizing strategically.
  • Owns delivery of assigned tasks end-to-end but expects clear briefs and check-ins on approach for more complex tasks.
  • Works transparently shares workings, responds to feedback, and iterates quickly rather than delivering finished 'black-box' outputs.
  • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
