Assistant Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

* Assist the Project Manager in managing electrical construction and installation works.

* Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.

* Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

* Attend project meetings and prepare progress reports.

* Assist in project budgeting, cost control, and procurement activities.

Technical Coordination

* Review electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

* Coordinate design development and resolve technical issues on site.

* Ensure compliance with authority requirements and industry standards.

* Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

Site Management

* Monitor site progress and supervise site engineers and supervisors.

* Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and method statements.

* Conduct site inspections and quality checks.

* Monitor safety compliance and enforce workplace safety requirements.

Documentation

* Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and progress reports.

* Track variation orders and contract changes.

* Assist in project close-out documentation.

Requirements

* Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.

* 3–8 years of relevant experience in electrical construction or M&E projects.

* Good knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.

* Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office applications.

* Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in commercial, industrial, or data centre projects.

* Knowledge of Singapore standards and authority submission processes.

* Possession of Workplace Safety certifications is an advantage.
