Barista
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Assist guests in an informative and helpful way
- Receive and process all cash and credit card transactions from guests in an efficient and accurate manner
- Process room charges for in-house guests
- Balance the point of sale system at end of shift
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
- Have full knowledge of all menu items and pricing
- Create coffee drinks & food on order
- Serve guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain station cleanliness during shift
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Other duties as assigned
- Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
- Previous guest service experience preferred
- Previous point of sale system experience preferred
- Must have good cash handling skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Constant standing throughout shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
Hourly Rate: $32.91 per hour
Visa Requirements:
Must have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
