Business Development Executive (Telesales)
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive outbound lead generation and support the growth of our enterprise client base. This role will focus on identifying potential customers, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Conduct outbound prospecting through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Identify and engage prospective customers across various industries.
- Qualify leads based on business needs, budget, and decision-making authority.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential opportunities.
Meeting & Opportunity Development
- Schedule product demonstrations and discovery meetings for the sales team.
- Follow up on inbound leads, marketing campaigns, and partner referrals.
- Gather customer requirements and communicate key insights to the sales team.
- Ensure qualified opportunities are progressed to the next stage of the sales process.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions within the CRM system.
- Track prospecting activities, meeting outcomes, and pipeline development.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities and performance metrics.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to support customer acquisition efforts.
- Contribute market feedback and customer insights to improve sales strategies.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.
- 1–3 years of experience in telesales, business development, lead generation, customer acquisition, or related sales roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with senior business stakeholders.
- Goal-oriented with a strong desire to achieve and exceed targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales environments.
- Exposure to SaaS, CRM, ERP, AI solutions, HR technology, or enterprise software.
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other prospecting tools.
- Previous experience in cold calling and appointment setting.
- Knowledge of the Singapore business landscape is an advantage.
