Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth, client acquisition, and market expansion for the Singapore ALTEN Business Unit of ALTEN Group. As a Business Development Manager, you will be developing strategic accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the Country Head in achieving revenue and market penetration targets across priority sectors, including Healthcare, Logistics, BFSI, Manufacturing, and Digital Transformation.

Responsibilities:

Business Growth and Client Acquisition:

· Support the Country Head in executing ALTEN’s go-to-market strategy in Singapore, focusing on priority sectors.

· Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities through:

o Direct sales

o Strategic partnerships

o Leveraging ALTEN’s global network

· Develop and grow strategic client accounts through upselling and cross-selling tailored IT and engineering solutions.

· Contribute to revenue and margin targets through accurate sales forecasting and effective pipeline management.

Client Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.

· Represent ALTEN in client meetings, industry events, and partnership forums to strengthen brand visibility and reputation.

· Collaborate closely with offshore and onshore delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction

Market and Strategic Development:

· Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive insights, and new business opportunities

· Support the Country Head in developing value propositions and strategic initiatives to position ALTEN as a leader in innovation and digital transformation.

· Ensure alignment between local strategies and global/regional business priorities.

Operational Collaboration:

· Work cross-functionally with presales, delivery, HR, finance, and legal teams to ensure operational excellence.

· Support business planning, performance tracking, and reporting activities.

· Promote ALTEN’s brand, culture, and sustainability commitments in all client and industry interactions.

Requirements:

· Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management within IT services, engineering services, or digital transformation.

· Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and acquiring new clients.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.

· Strategic mindset with strong analytical and planning capabilities.

· Experience working in cross-functional and matrix organizations.
