Charles River Development (CRD) Support Specialist

The Charles River Development (CRD) support specialist is responsible for the Charles River Development solution. The CRD support specialist will support the clients Project Managers and Traders.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with PMs and internal stakeholders; manage communications to the trading staff, PMs and internal stakeholders regarding issues/resolutions.
• Solve technical trading-related issues independently where possible or leverage teammates as necessary. Escalate to application and infrastructure subject matter experts (internally or at vendors) when appropriate.
• Document and review knowledge base to provide the most effective solutions to trading issues.
• Coordinate with vendors, internal application owners, infrastructure owners, and tech support to ensure trading platforms are correctly installed, configured, and tested.
• Liaise with development and infrastructure teams, prioritize tool enhancements, and coordinate and participate in software/new version releases.

SKILLS

Must have

• 4-5 years of experience
• Prior support experience with Charles River Development (CRD) - Order Mgmt and Trade Execution System - is preferable; understanding of workflow and development experience is a must
• Knowledge of Fix, Bloomberg, Exe or any other OMS experience will also be acceptable
• Hands-on technical experience in an application support

Nice to have

• C# development to contribute to small platform enhancement is a plus • SQL: Experience to write complex queries • Scripting - Python / Powershell / Bash • Windows/Unix server knowledge (health checks, logs review, services restart etc.) • Experience in supporting order flow management between the trading desk and brokers
