We are looking for a professional Chef de Partie
This position will be responsible in the preparation of all foods as indicated in the menu
plan, recipes, and methods for his/her areas. He is responsible to take care of all orders from
his/her immediate supervisor on duty, pertaining to specific assignments that may arise without
notice, due to special functions, itinerary or other unforeseen changes.
Responsibilities
Ensures that all foods are prepared fresh and is of the highest standard for taste and food safetyStrictly follows all recipes, methods, and instructions from his supervisorMaintain menus and food quality to standardsBe responsible to control food cost in the restaurant.Control food wasteCheck on all equipment in your areas that must be fixed and report to the ChefPrepare food for service (shopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staffAnswer, report, and follow chef’s instructionsClean up the station and take care of leftover foodStock inventory appropriatelyEnsure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashionRequirements
