CHEF
Job Summary
You will prepare and cook North and South Indian cuisine, including tandoori dishes, manage daily menu planning, monitor stock levels, and oversee kitchen ordering in a non-air-conditioned environment with weekend, public holiday, and shift work.
Responsibilities
- Prepare North and South Indian dishes following established recipes to ensure authentic taste and quality
- Cook tandoori items using appropriate techniques to maintain food standards
- Plan and prepare daily menus to meet customer demand and kitchen capacity
- Monitor kitchen stock levels regularly to prevent shortages and reduce waste
- Manage kitchen ordering by coordinating with suppliers to maintain ingredient availability
- Adapt to a non-air-conditioned kitchen environment while maintaining food safety and hygiene
- Work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts between 7:30am and 11:00pm
- Perform overtime as required to support kitchen operations
