Chief Engineer / Facilities Maintenance Manager

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily engineering and facilities management operations of the hotel.
  • Manage and maintain all M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection systems, lifts, BMS and other building facilities.
  • Lead the engineering team to ensure smooth operations and timely rectification of maintenance issues.
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance programmes to ensure equipment reliability.
  • Manage contractors and service providers to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety requirements.
  • Monitor maintenance costs, budgets, and engineering projects.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and workplace safety standards.
  • Support hotel operations to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years and above of relevant experience in hotel engineering, building management, or facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems and building operations.
  • Experience in leading a technical team and managing contractors.
  • Good problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
