CHIEF ENGINEER (FM)
Chief Engineer / Facilities Maintenance Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily engineering and facilities management operations of the hotel.
- Manage and maintain all M&E systems, including ACMV, electrical, plumbing, fire protection systems, lifts, BMS and other building facilities.
- Lead the engineering team to ensure smooth operations and timely rectification of maintenance issues.
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance programmes to ensure equipment reliability.
- Manage contractors and service providers to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety requirements.
- Monitor maintenance costs, budgets, and engineering projects.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and workplace safety standards.
- Support hotel operations to maintain a comfortable and safe environment for guests and staff.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years and above of relevant experience in hotel engineering, building management, or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems and building operations.
- Experience in leading a technical team and managing contractors.
- Good problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
