Job Summary
We are looking for a Part Time Hybrid Child Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. The NP will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic support for pediatric and adolescent patients in a collaborative, hybrid (telehealth and in-person) setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and medication management for children and adolescents
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and primary care providers
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide patient and family education around medications, treatment options, and wellness strategies
- Participate in case conferences and care coordination
- Accurately document patient encounters using EMR
- Support the expansion of pediatric mental health services across the community
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Active and unrestricted New York State NP license
- 3 years of experience working with children and adolescents in mental health settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a hybrid care model (in-person and telehealth)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Knowledge of community-based or urban healthcare systems
$80 an hour
