Claims-Motor Examiner

Description :

  • Review and assess motor insurance claims to determine coverage, liability, and the extent of damages.

  • Investigate claims by gathering relevant information, such as police reports, repair estimates, photographs, and witness statements.

  • Communicate with policyholders, claimants, repair shops, legal representatives, and other relevant parties.

  • Negotiate settlements within authority limits and recommend payments or denials.

  • Ensure all claims are processed in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of each claim and its progress.

  • Identify potential fraud and escalate suspicious cases for further investigation.

  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the claims process.

  • Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, and other departments as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in insurance, business, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in motor claims handling or insurance is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

  • Familiarity with relevant insurance regulations and industry best practices.
