Claims-Motor Examiner
Description :
Review and assess motor insurance claims to determine coverage, liability, and the extent of damages.
Investigate claims by gathering relevant information, such as police reports, repair estimates, photographs, and witness statements.
Communicate with policyholders, claimants, repair shops, legal representatives, and other relevant parties.
Negotiate settlements within authority limits and recommend payments or denials.
Ensure all claims are processed in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of each claim and its progress.
Identify potential fraud and escalate suspicious cases for further investigation.
Provide excellent customer service throughout the claims process.
Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, and other departments as needed.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in insurance, business, or a related field.
Previous experience in motor claims handling or insurance is preferred.
Strong analytical and investigative skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Familiarity with relevant insurance regulations and industry best practices.
