Job Summary
As a Command Centre Deployment / Incident Controller, you will monitor security operations, coordinate ground deployments, and manage incidents across client sites within a 24/7 Command Centre to ensure swift, effective responses to security threats and emergencies.
Responsibilities
- Monitor live CCTV feeds, alarm systems, and access control platforms across multiple client locations to detect security threats promptly
- Respond in real-time to security breaches, system alerts, and emergency calls to mitigate risks effectively
- Coordinate deployment of ground personnel and mobile patrol units during incidents to ensure timely resolution
- Maintain accurate incident logs and generate detailed reports for internal and client review to support transparency and accountability
- Escalate critical incidents to management and liaise with law enforcement or emergency services to facilitate appropriate actions
- Ensure all Command Centre operations comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory standards to maintain operational integrity
- Participate in regular drills and contribute to continuous improvement of incident response protocols to enhance preparedness
- Manage multiple screens and communication channels simultaneously to maintain situational awareness and operational control
- Utilize incident logging software and dispatch coordination tools proficiently to document and manage security events
- Communicate clearly and professionally in verbal and written forms to coordinate teams and report incidents effectively
- Demonstrate strong situational awareness and make quick, sound decisions under pressure to maintain security and safety
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, upholding high levels of integrity and professionalism
Required competencies and certifications
- Basic licensing under the Police Regulatory Department (PRD)
- Minimum PWM Rank of Senior Security Officer
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a security operations centre, command centre, or similar role
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent education
- Minimum 1 year of ground experience in security operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma in Security Management or related field
- WSQ Certificate in Security Operations or equivalent certification
- Additional certifications in emergency response, crisis management, or surveillance systems
- Prior experience in security services, emergency response, or law enforcement
- Experience with incident management and coordination of field teams
Other Information
- Shift work, including weekends and public holidays, is required
- On-call availability may be necessary during major incidents
- Training will be provided for proprietary systems and protocols
- Remuneration is based on market rates and candidate experience
