Job Description

The Construction General Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site interior fit-out and renovation works to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with approved drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage daily site activities for interior fit-out and renovation projects.
  • Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.
  • Plan and assign daily work schedules to ensure project progress.
  • Ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Monitor workmanship and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety procedures.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and toolbox meetings.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, consultants, and clients to resolve site issues.
  • Monitor the delivery and proper use of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Prepare daily site progress reports and report project status to management.
  • Ensure good housekeeping and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Assist in project handover and rectification works.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out or construction projects.
  • Experience supervising renovation and interior finishing works.
  • Able to read and interpret construction and interior design drawings.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
  • Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence (preferred).
  • Relevant safety certifications will be an advantage.
