CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage overall construction site operations to ensure successful project delivery
- Report directly to the Management on project progress and site matters
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all construction activities according to project schedule
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications
- Oversee site teams and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution
- Review project drawings, method statements, and work sequences prior to implementation
- Manage manpower, equipment, and material resources efficiently
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports
- Identify project risks, delays, and operational challenges, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and authorities’ requirements
- Ensure quality workmanship and minimize abortive work and material wastage
- Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and inspections with clients, consultants, and authorities
- Resolve technical and operational issues arising on site
- Mentor and guide engineers, supervisors, and site staff
- Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all site activities and project matters
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in the construction / civil engineering industry
- Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of construction methods, project planning, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Proficient in project scheduling and reporting
