CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage overall construction site operations to ensure successful project delivery
  • Report directly to the Management on project progress and site matters
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor all construction activities according to project schedule
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with specifications
  • Oversee site teams and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution
  • Review project drawings, method statements, and work sequences prior to implementation
  • Manage manpower, equipment, and material resources efficiently
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports
  • Identify project risks, delays, and operational challenges, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, company policies, and authorities’ requirements
  • Ensure quality workmanship and minimize abortive work and material wastage
  • Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and inspections with clients, consultants, and authorities
  • Resolve technical and operational issues arising on site
  • Mentor and guide engineers, supervisors, and site staff
  • Ensure proper documentation and record keeping for all site activities and project matters

Requirements:

  • Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in the construction / civil engineering industry
  • Proven experience in managing civil engineering projects
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of construction methods, project planning, safety regulations, and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
  • Proficient in project scheduling and reporting
