PROJECT MANAGER / SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Summary

Responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of construction projects from start to completion. This includes managing schedules, budgets, resources, and site activities to ensure timely and successful delivery.

The role involves coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, as well as monitoring progress, resolving site issues, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety requirements. Strong leadership is required to drive project performance and achieve key milestones.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and project close-out.
  • Developproject work plans, schedules, manpower allocation, and resource planning toensure smooth execution.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and liaise closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities
  • Oversee site operations and provide leadership to project and site teams to achieve key milestones and productivity targets.
  • Monitor site progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety, environmental regulations, and quality assurance standards.
  • Review construction methods, technical submissions, and resolve engineering and operational challenges on-site.
  • Prepare and review progress reports, project documentation, claims, variation orders, and other contractual submissions.
  • Support tendering, cost estimation, budgeting, procurement planning, and contract administration when required.
  • Drive effective communication and coordination among all project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum8 - 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering or infrastructureprojects.
  • Proven experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, road works, drainage, earthworks, and utility projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with Singapore construction regulations, LTA requirements, and industry standards.
  • Experience working in main contractor environments with exposure to large-scale public infrastructure projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Abilityto work under pressure and manage tight project timelines in a fast-paced construction environment.
