CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will perform tasks involved in the Government's planning, award and administration of contracts and assist in the development, acquisition and sustainment of state-of-the-art equipment and training services.

You will develop acquisition strategies, perform price/cost analysis to analyze and evaluate findings contained in audit reports and conduct extensive negotiations during all phases of the procurement process.

You will assist in supporting the Command's Small Business Program, Internal Training program, and Internal Inspection Programs.

You will plan and conduct post-award conferences to ensure compliance with, and full understanding of, contractual requirements, initiate appropriate remedial/corrective actions, and negotiate contract terminations, when required.

You will assign and review daily work to ensure completion within established timelines, develop, assign, and establish goals and objectives for employees and evaluate employee performance.
