Job Description & Summary

About This Role

We are recruiting an Associate Director to join our Retail, Consumer and Leisure Corporate Finance team, a market-leading group of sector specialists advising on high-profile mid-market transactions. You will play a key role in executing transactions and supporting origination activity, working with entrepreneurs, private equity and corporates across a fast-evolving consumer landscape.

This is an opportunity to play an important role in complex deal execution, contribute to client outcomes and contribute to the continued growth of a high-performing team. We are looking for an experienced M&A professional with strong commercial judgement and a track record of delivering transactions end-to-end.

What your days will look like:

As an Associate Director, you will combine strong execution capability with support for our origination and business development. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Leading day-to-day transaction execution, managing workstreams, timelines and key stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes

  • Supporting origination activity, contributing to pitch development, client targeting and relationship building

  • Applying sector insights to inform client positioning and transaction strategy

  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and advisors throughout the deal lifecycle

  • Supporting the development of junior team members, providing guidance, oversight and on-the-job coaching

This role is for you if:

  • You have strong transaction execution experience, ideally including experience within the Retail, Consumer and Leisure sectors

  • You have experience delivering end-to-end M&A transactions, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively

  • You are commercially aware, proactive and able to contribute to both execution and business development activity

  • You demonstrate leadership within deal teams, supporting and developing junior colleagues

What you’ll receive from us:

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions. We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
