Job Description & Summary

About The Role:

We are recruiting a Director to join our Retail, Consumer and Leisure Corporate Finance team, a market-leading group of sector specialists advising on high-profile mid-market transactions. You will play a central role in originating and executing deals, working with entrepreneurs, private equity and corporates across a fast-evolving, dynamic consumer landscape.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex transactions, shape client outcomes and contribute to the continued growth of a high-performing team. We are looking for an experienced dealmaker with strong commercial judgement, an established network and a track record of delivering successful transactions end-to-end.

What your days will look like:

As a Director, you will combine transaction expertise and origination leadership to drive client outcomes and the growth of the team. Your day-to-day will include:

  • Building and maintaining a strong origination pipeline, identifying opportunities and leveraging your network to generate new business

  • Leading end-to-end transaction execution, managing timelines, stakeholders and delivery risk

  • Applying deep sector insights to shape client strategy and positioning across transactions

  • Providing leadership across the team, coaching and developing junior talent, and fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture

This role is for you if:

  • You have a proven track record of originating M&A transactions, ideally within the Retail, Consumer and Leisure sectors

  • You have extensive end-to-end transaction experience, with an ability to execute complex deals with multiple stakeholders

  • You have built and maintained senior client relationships across entrepreneurs, private equity and corporates, acting as a trusted adviser

  • You lead, develop and inspire high-performing teams, providing clear direction, coaching and structured development to junior colleagues.

What you’ll receive from us:

No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions. We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
