Customer Service Executive

Job Summary

The primary objective of the Inside Sales team member is to develop and improve Pentagon market share for new and existing businesses.

Role Overview

  • Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, tender submissions and RFQ proposals for clients.
  • Verify pricing, terms, and conditions for shipments awarded.
  • Maintain an accurate level of data quality, ensuring that all systems are kept up to date promptly.
  • Organize and maintain sales documentation, ensuring accessibility and completeness for reference.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales processes and success of the business.

Requirement:

  • Min Diploma holder
  • Must have min 2 - 3 years experience in sales support and customer service, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry or any of the Oil and Gas, EPC, and Marine industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis, reporting, and document preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding processes, terminology, and industry trends is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
  • Good team player, with an enthusiastic & proactive attitude
