Customer Service Officer (Tuas)
Job Description
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries through various channels (phone call, emails, faxes, etc)
- Liaise, acknowledge and solve customer requests or complaints within stipulated timeline
- Liase with local and overseas suppliers to check stock availabilty, pricing and delivery deadlines
- Liaise with procurement department for enquiry, order, shipments, etc
- Liaise with shipping department for import and export shipments
- Liase with warehouse department to prepare shipments
- Perform daily tasks include preparing quotations, processing orders, backorder tracking, quotation tracking, preparing invoices and other necessary paper work
- Follow-up on quotations, payments
- Prepare contract review, tender files and tender documents
- Understand company's product range in general
- Ad-hoc responsibilities by management
Job Requirements
- At least GCE 'O' Levels or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years working experience in Customer Service or Sales
- Experience in handling overseas suppliers/customers
- Customer service oriented and have a great sense of urgency
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced working environment
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Good communication skills
- Meticulous in work and able to do general calculations
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table), and MS Powerpoint
