What you'll be doing

As a Data Analytics Co-op within the Global Macro and Strategy team, you will be part of a dynamic, globally operating asset management team. Under the supervision of the Global Head of Research, and in collaboration with other analysts and portfolio managers, you'll contribute to improve our investment research processes, developing analytical tools and dashboards, and leveraging your technical skills to enhance investment research. You'll have opportunities to interact with senior leaders, including the Chief Investment Officer, and play an active role in supporting the team’s ongoing projects. You’ll be encouraged to take initiative, design creative solutions to complex challenges, and demonstrate ownership in your work.

The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $52,890 to $68,440.

The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles.

  • You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education to be eligible, however, you do not need to be in a registered Co-op program to be considered for this role

How you'll succeed

  • Technical Tool Development - Build and enhance research tools using Python, Power BI, and other analytics platforms to support credit and equity analysis.

  • Data Analysis & Visualization - Analyze financial and market data, creating clear and actionable visualizations that inform investment decisions.

  • Collaboration & Communication - Work closely with portfolio managers, research analysts, and business partners to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.

  • Solution Design & Initiative - Proactively identify opportunities for improvement, design innovative solutions, and take ownership of your projects.

  • Cross-Team Support - Assist in projects that span multiple asset classes, supporting both fixed-income and equity teams.

  • Learning & Growth - Participate in training and mentorship opportunities, including meetings with senior leaders such as the Chief Investment Officer.
