Data Support Executive

The incumbent shall support the LED Project team by performing data-related verification and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

1. Data Verification

  • Check, compare, and confirm accuracy of records in the system.
  • Identify any missing, inconsistent, or duplicate entries.
  • Flag discrepancies to Engineer promptly.

2. Data Entry & Updating

  • Input new information into the database as instructed.
  • Update existing records to ensure all data is current and accurate.

3. Quality Control

  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain data integrity.
  • Perform routine checks to ensure completeness and accuracy.

4. Documentation

  • Record findings, corrections, and exceptions clearly.
  • Prepare simple daily or weekly summaries of work completed.

5. Confidentiality & Compliance

  • Handle all information with strict confidentiality.
  • Adhere to organizational data-protection and IT security policies.

6. Other Administrative Support

  • Assist with computer-based tasks as required.
  • Provide ad hoc support related to the data-checking project.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma level.
  • Proficient in computer operations, using data-entry systems, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and internal software.
  • Attention to details, able to spot errors, inconsistencies, and duplicates entries.
  • High level of accuracy in checking and updating information.
  • Good Data Entry Ability with accuracy.
  • Familiarity with handling large amounts of data.
  • Able to do analytical thinking to understand simple patterns, exceptions, and discrepancies.
  • Able to report errors clearly and follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Able to prioritise tasks and complete work within timelines.
  • Works efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding sensitive information.
