Demi Chef de Partie

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of dishes in the assigned section

  • Ensure all mise en place is completed on time and to a high standard

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards strictly

  • Support the kitchen team during service to ensure smooth operations

  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to senior chefs

  • Contribute to the development of new dishes and menu items when required

  • Ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation

  • Adhere to company policies, kitchen procedures, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen (especially pastry)

  • Culinary diploma or relevant vocational training (preferred)

  • Good knowledge of basic cooking methods and kitchen operations

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Flexibility with work schedules, including weekends and holidays

  • Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
