Director of Crypto Operations

You will lead end to end settlement and money movement processes across crypto entities. You will oversee daily fiat and crypto operations, manage key counterparty relationships, and ensure wallet balances and reconciliation. You will lead an organization of managers and specialists, improve workflows, and support audits and regulatory inquiries. You will introduce automation and tooling to improve settlement speed, reconciliation accuracy, and operational scale.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fiat and crypto settlement processes with market makers, liquidity providers, and exchanges across multiple entities
• Oversee wallet rebalancing, custody reconciliation, and liquidity thresholds to ensure accurate and timely operations
• Lead, coach, and develop an org of operations managers and specialists responsible for settlement,money movement, and account servicing activities
• Improve operational workflows by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions, including automation tools
• Work with partners across trading operations, treasury, risk, engineering, and compliance to support secure and consistent operations

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in crypto operations, including settlement, custody, and money movement in an institutional setting
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing teams, with a track record of supporting team performance and growth
• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency markets, exchanges, and on-chain transactions
• Familiarity with global fiat payment systems and associated operational controls
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory reviews, with a clear understanding of risk management and compliance requirements
