Job Summary
Lead corporate governance and regulatory compliance for the company, managing fiduciary duties, licensing, operational policies, and human resource frameworks to ensure smooth business operations and adherence to Singapore laws.
Responsibilities
- Maintain corporate governance by managing annual returns and statutory filings in compliance with the Singapore Companies Act and ACRA requirements
- Assume fiduciary responsibility for the company’s financial transactions, board resolutions, and legal liabilities to safeguard organizational integrity
- Secure and renew all necessary regulatory licenses, including the Police Licensing Department (PLD) Massage Establishment License, ensuring uninterrupted business operations
- Approve and oversee business operational policies, financial budgeting, and vendor contracts specifically for the Chinatown outlet to optimize performance and compliance
- Approve human resource frameworks, including localized hiring quotas and foreign worker pass allocations (S Pass/Work Permit), to align with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations
Required competencies and certifications
- Must be an ordinary resident in Singapore (Citizen, Permanent Resident, or an eligible Employment Pass holder)
- Must be aged 18 or above with no past corporate or financial disqualifications under ACRA guidelines
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of executive-level management experience in a registered healthcare, wellness center, or local corporate entity
- Strong working knowledge of Singapore business laws, employment regulations, and the Massage Establishments Act
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with local authorities, executive staff, and industry stakeholders
