Drafter (M&E)

Job Summary

Use AutoCAD to prepare and update mechanical and electrical (M&E) drawings that comply with international standards and customer specifications. Manage multiple high-priority projects under tight deadlines while maintaining documentation and supporting business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, update, and coordinate M&E drawings using AutoCAD in 2D and 3D to meet project requirements
  • Ensure all drawings comply with international standards and customer specifications for quality and accuracy
  • Manage multiple high-priority drafting projects simultaneously under tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Update drawings and related documentation based on customer feedback to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain proper documentation for all drawings and project records to support traceability and audits
  • Provide operational support to company business functions as needed to facilitate smooth workflows
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment and project success
  • Adapt and perform efficiently in a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum Higher Nitec in Integrated Mechanical & Electrical Design or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience drafting M&E systems and services
  • Proficient in AutoCAD for M&E drawings in both 2D and 3D
  • Knowledge of construction laws and regulations relevant to M&E design

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Strong technical drawing skills with attention to detail
  • Proactive and positive attitude conducive to teamwork and problem-solving
