DRAUGHTSPERSON
Responsibilities:
- Generate AutoCAD Drawings for Internal and External use to support Production, Sales and Customers in both 3D and 2D based on customer specifications.
- Maintain the Component / Sub-Assembly Description in the Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault and SAP B1 Databases.
- Generate Sub-Assembly Part Numbers as necessary for new and frequently used Control Schematics.
- Ensure Technical Drawings produced are accurate and presented in an orderly and timely manner.
- Reviews drawings and asserts changes based on field input from Engineering, Sales, Production, and Project Managers.
- Maintain Drawing Files and Updates in a systematic method for ease of tracking / retrieval.
- Maintain database of parts and other documentation (i.e. drawings, bill of materials, etc.,) for future reference
- Perform regular External Storage Back Ups of Drawing and Essential Files.
- Work closely with Technical Engineer and Documentation Department for expediting of Approval Drawings as necessary.
Requirements:
- 5 + years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous design experience using AutoCAD 3D/2D (Autodesk Inventor) and Autodesk Vault mandatory
- Oil and Gas industry experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and oral
- Highly Meticulous with eyes for details.
- Team player with Strong organizational skills
- Highly productive and Able to work independently
