Drywall & Paint Technician
What you'll do
- Install, repair, tape, mud, and finish drywall to a smooth, paint-ready surface
- Patch holes, cracks, and damaged drywall
- Sand and prepare surfaces for painting
- Apply paint, stain, and finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers
- Match paint colors and textures as required
- Protect surrounding areas with proper masking and drop cloths
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition
- Follow safety procedures and job site guidelines
- Communicate progress and issues to supervisors or project leads
What you'll do
- 2–5 years of experience in drywall installation, finishing, and painting
- 1-2 years of restoration experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of drywall materials, finishing techniques, and paint applications
- Ability to achieve smooth, consistent finishes with attention to detail
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and painting equipment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various site conditions
