E-Commerce Specialist (6 months contract)
Position Overview:
Opportunity to drive local digital P&L by achieving commercial outcomes while ensuring operational excellence across brand site, marketplaces, and on-ground store fulfilment. The E-Commerce Specialist will also build strong relationships with local Merchandise teams and vendors to secure hero and pre-order inventory, and stay connected to local market data to inform commercial decisions.
Job Description:
A. Digital Operations Excellence
- Manage daily order workflow: failed order actions, store coordination, fulfilment follow-up, order reallocation.
- Partner with logistics vendors and stores to protect SLA, customer satisfaction, and operational cost efficiency.
- Secure hero items and pre-order inventory by maintaining strong relationships with the local Merchandise team and key vendors.
- Ensure campaign readiness in landing page quality, and localization of regional creative assets.
B. Store-Level Operations Excellence
- Conduct in-store training and accountability checks on packing and fulfilment process in-store.
- Optimize process for consignment stocks and physical inventory audits, including direct fulfilment in store when needed.
- Coordinate pre-order fulfilment with local stakeholders (store ops, merchandising).
- Resolve local courier disputes and marketplace partner issues.
C. Local eCommerce P&L (Sales, Margin, Cost)
- Promotion planning and setup to drive and grow conversion of ecommerce sales.
- Support to achieve full local eCommerce P&L targets: traffic, conversion, MU mix, fulfilment efficiency, profitability.
- Diagnose business gaps and propose actionable recovery plans with clarity and speed, such as pricing, promo setup, category/SKU prioritization.
- Stay connected to local market numbers and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Opportunity to be involved in regional work, or secondary market support such as Thailand, depending on candidate performance and business need.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma holder preferably in Business, Retail Management or eCommerce.
- 1-3 years of working experience, preferably with eCommerce experience.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration (merchandising, logistics, stores).
- Business acumen to drive commercial decisions will be a plus.
- Fluent English; Mandarin or Thai language skills a plus but not required.
- Willing to travel and work at stores in Singapore and respond to critical issues outside standard hours when necessary.
Reporting Line
- Reports to: eCommerce Manager (Regional)
- Close collaboration with: Singapore General Manager, Merchandising and Marketing teams, Regional Ops.
