ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, control panels, wiring, and electrical components.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Maintain maintenance records and prepare service reports.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Coordinate with operations personnel to support daily plant activities.
  • Attend to emergency breakdowns and urgent maintenance requirements.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Working Hours and Availability:

  • Required to work beyond normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, and on-call duties when necessary.
  • Must be available to respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and operational requirements outside regular working hours.
  • Overtime work may be required based on operational needs.
