ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description:
- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, control panels, wiring, and electrical components.
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
- Maintain maintenance records and prepare service reports.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
- Coordinate with operations personnel to support daily plant activities.
- Attend to emergency breakdowns and urgent maintenance requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Working Hours and Availability:
- Required to work beyond normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, public holidays, and on-call duties when necessary.
- Must be available to respond to emergency equipment breakdowns and operational requirements outside regular working hours.
- Overtime work may be required based on operational needs.
- Willing and able to work night shifts as required by project schedules.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced project environments.
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance, including adherence to permit-to-work systems and electrical safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with commissioning and engineering teams.
