Engineering Manager, Advisory Platform
You will lead engineers responsible for designing and delivering backend systems that operate at scale. You will guide architectural decisions, support engineers in solving complex technical challenges, and ensure systems meet reliability and performance expectations. You will partner with product managers, legal, compliance, and operations teams to align technical execution with business priorities and customer needs. In addition, you will support career development, team effectiveness, and consistent delivery across key initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the growth of a team of software engineers while fostering an inclusive and collaborative engineering culture.
- Define and execute the technical roadmap for brokerage services, balancing platform improvements with delivery of new capabilities.
- Work with product managers, legal, compliance, and operations teams to design reliable financial workflows and customer-facing systems.
- Establish operational metrics, architectural standards, and monitoring practices that improve system reliability, performance, and availability.
- Contribute to organizational planning, resource allocation, and technical direction across the Brokerage Engineering organization.
Requirements
- You have 5+ years of software engineering experience, including experience managing engineers or engineering teams.
- You have experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
- You have delivered complex technical initiatives from planning through execution.
- You communicate effectively with both technical and business partners.
- You support team development through coaching, feedback, and structured growth planning.
