Engineering Manager

You will lead engineering delivery across multiple client engagements and internal platform initiatives. You will break down and scope complex technical projects, mentor and grow engineers, and guide architectural decisions to ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability. You will proactively identify risks, improve team processes, and collaborate with product and technical leadership to deliver pragmatic, production-grade cloud, data, and AI solutions. You will use AI-enabled development tools and prepare to obtain Google Cloud certification if needed.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day engineering delivery across multiple strategic client engagements and internal platform initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams
• Collaborate with product and technical leadership to break down, scope, and plan complex technical projects
• Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, system performance, and maintainability
• Proactively identify risks and escalate them early to ensure momentum and predictable delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with prior experience formally leading developers or managing teams
• Strong foundation in system design, cloud architecture (preferably GCP), and backend engineering
• Demonstrated experience building and shipping production-quality code in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Active daily use of AI-enabled coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
• Active Google Cloud certifications or willingness to obtain within one month of joining
• U.S. Citizen
