Job Title: Engineering Technologist IV
Location: Charlotte, NC 28202
Contract length: 21-Month Contract
Pay: $37/hr - $42.65/hr

Engineering Technologist IV Qualifications
Required

• BS in Engineering or Associate degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and documentation
• Experience with engineering tools, drafting software, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Preferred

• 6+ years of experience in an engineering or technical support role
• Experience supporting utility, energy, or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with engineering systems or asset management tools
• Experience with Maximo

Engineering Technologist IV Description

• Provide technical support to engineers on assigned projects and operational work
• Prepare, update, and maintain engineering documentation, drawings, and reports
• Utilize engineering software and systems to support design, analysis, and tracking
• Collect, validate, and perform basic analysis of technical data
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to support schedules and deliverables
• Ensure work complies with established standards, procedures, and safety requirements
• Identify and escalate technical issues or discrepancies as needed
