English Curriculum Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Curriculum Developer to design, develop, and enhance high-quality English learning materials for students. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating engaging, effective, and curriculum-aligned educational content that supports student learning outcomes and academic success.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in English education, curriculum design, instructional writing, and assessment development, particularly within the Singapore education landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development

• Design and develop English curriculum materials aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus and learning objectives.
• Create lesson plans, worksheets, assessment papers, teaching guides, and enrichment materials for primary 1 to 6 students.
• Develop instructional content that supports language acquisition, reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, writing, and critical thinking skills.
• Ensure curriculum content is age-appropriate, engaging, and pedagogically sound.

Content Review & Quality Assurance

• Conduct regular reviews of curriculum materials to maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Revise and improve existing content based on feedback from educators, editors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure all materials meet editorial, educational, and brand standards.
• Stay updated on curriculum changes, educational trends, and best practices in English language teaching.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, Linguistics, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or educational certification is advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, educational publishing, or teaching.
• Experience developing English language learning materials for primary 1-6 students.
• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE English syllabus is highly preferred.
• Experience working with educational publishers, tuition centres, enrichment centres, or schools is an advantage.
