Environmental Protection Specialist

About the Position: Performs a variety of economic and management analyses of Environmental Compliance and Natural Resource Conservation programs.

Conduct review of all applicable rules, regulations, agreements and guidance, as well as the installation’s habitat management process, to collect and compile data for projects and management plans.

Examine, analyze, and evaluate organizational, administrative and operational structures and procedures to gain efficiencies and improve internal and external communications.

Conduct annual environmental compliance evaluations in the assessment areas of the EPAS process.

Develop and maintain the Environmental Division budget.

Analyzes all budget requests, prepares budget memorandums for submission to the Resources Management Office and coordinates with applicable points of contact.
