Job Summary

Support the Events Director in planning and executing events, managing communications, coordinating site visits, overseeing event delivery, and ensuring exceptional guest relations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Events Director to plan and execute events that meet client expectations and business goals
  • Manage event communications and respond promptly to guest enquiries via email and phone to ensure clear information flow
  • Coordinate and participate in site visits with clients and vendors to assess event requirements and logistics
  • Prepare, organise, and maintain accurate event documents including contracts, proposals, and event orders for smooth operations
  • Oversee on-site event execution to deliver high-quality service and resolve issues proactively
  • Manage guest relations by welcoming clients, attending to VIPs, and professionally handling feedback to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Adapt to flexible working hours including evenings, weekends, and event days to support event success

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Background in food and beverage or hospitality industries preferred to understand operational nuances
  • Basic knowledge of wines and beverages is a plus, with WSET Level 1 or 2 certification considered advantageous
