Job Summary
The Event Executive / Guest Relations Officer partners with the Events Director to plan, coordinate, and execute events, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service for clients and guests.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Events Director to facilitate event planning and execution
- Manage event communications by responding promptly to emails and phone enquiries to maintain clear client and vendor engagement
- Coordinate and attend site visits with clients and vendors to assess event requirements and logistics
- Prepare and organize event documents including contracts, proposals, and event orders to ensure accuracy and readiness
- Oversee on-site event execution to maintain high service quality and enhance guest experience according to company standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event delivery and resolve issues proactively
- Manage guest relations by welcoming clients, attending to VIPs, and professionally handling feedback to uphold service excellence
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Background in food and beverage or hospitality industries to support event-related knowledge and client interaction
- Basic knowledge of wines and beverages; WSET Level 1 or 2 certification is an advantage
