Job Summary:
Be part of the vibrant team at the Aloft Singapore Novena. Our Event Services team provides operational and customer support by ensuring seamless execution of groups/events and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Work closely with clients, sales teams, and internal departments to manage group/event requirements, oversee setup and service delivery, and ensure all group and events run smoothly from planning through completion.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients throughout the Group Event planning process.
- Coordinate with hotel departments (e.g., front desk, housekeeping, catering, F&B) to ensure seamless event or group execution.
- Conduct site tours and pre-event meetings with clients when necessary.
- Handle last-minute changes and troubleshoot any issues during Group Events.
- Attend site inspection and entertainment when required.
- Attend pre-conference and banquet event order meetings and oversee Group Event execution according to client specifications.
- Be responsive to customer enquiries via email, calls, and on issued company mobile phone.
- Responsible in monitoring and updating the various systems related to the Sales Department including SFAWeb and Opera Sales & Catering. To ensure accurate updates including actualisation.
- Perform other functions that may be required from time to time as required by the Management.
