Executive, Sea Freight, Pricing and Development Singapore

Purpose of Position

All aspects of Sea Freight Pricing, Development and Procurement including and not limited to day-to-day procurement support, system support on costing, GP analysis and GP improvement.

Key Task

Pricing and Procurement

• Maintenance of cost on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis and share with relevant operational stakeholders

• Setting up and maintenance of MSR to share with relevant stakeholders

• Key Client monthly rate support

• Handle rate enquiries from network and Commercial team

• Vendors credit term / limit maintenance

• Assist operations / billing team on pricing related concern

• Support RFQ for both FCL / LCL

Development

• Relationship management with transporters, co-loaders and vendors

• Work closely with Regional LCL Product team, Gateway team and network offices to monitor utilization, improve the LCL Pricing and Product and propose promotional initiatives

• Seeking opportunities to improve GP on day-to-day tasks through negotiation of costs

• Working with internal stakeholders to secure more market share

Vendor management

• Maintain and implement transporter allocation strategy

• Support the on boarding of new vendors and yearly vendor evaluation process

• Monitor vendor’s performance on the KPIs assigned

• Gather feedback from relevant stakeholders on vendor performance and address challenges faced

• Join and support regular business review meetings with vendors

GP Analysis

• GP improvement through GP analysis on freight products based on customer and port pairs

• Act on loss customers and solutions for turning around

• Profit share development from Partner country and account consistency

• Perform Audit in Profit share

• Perform Audit in Profitable vendor choices

Reporting

· Analyze GP/Vendor Trend for manager’s insight

Profit Share analysis report
· Any other ad-hoc reports assigned

Others

· Any other job-related tasks assigned by the superior.

· Backup Pricing and Development team members as and when needed

· Adherence to the Code of Conduct policy of the DSV Group

Experience & Education
· Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent

· Minimum3 years of Freight Forwarding experience

· Well verse knowledge on Excel.
