Operations, Air Freight, Key Account Support, Singapore

JOB OVERVIEW

Responsible for supporting end-to-end air freight import and export operations for key accounts. This role ensures shipments are executed efficiently, in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and aligned with customer requirements. The position requires close coordination with internal departments, overseas offices, and customers to deliver high service standards and operational excellence.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure import and export operations run smoothly and are compliant with SOPs

  • Manage and coordinate the entire shipment process for customers

  • Plan and schedule cargo space, monitor flight uplift status, and pre-alert stakeholders on potential delays

  • Liaise with destination offices regarding shipment delays and discrepancies

  • Coordinate closely with customers and internal departments to ensure accurate shipment execution

  • Proactively prevent service failures and manage recovery actions when issues arise

  • Monitor daily operational activities to ensure compliance with customer requirements

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports and KPI reports for customers

  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner

  • Expedite responses by coordinating between customer service and operations teams

  • Any other job-related tasks as assigned by the superior.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-up capabilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and operational systems.

  • Experience using logistics systems such as CW1, Tango, MS, AI, etc.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

EDUCATION AND/ OR EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, air freight operations, import/export operations, or logistics customer service.

  • Experience handling key accounts, shipment coordination, and billing activities is preferred.

  • Education can be compensated with relevant working experience.

  • Computer Knowledge.

WORKING HOURS

  • Monday to Friday: 0830hrs – 1730hrs

  • Saturday: 0830hrs – 1230hrs (Alternate Saturday)
