Facility Manager
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Management Lead to oversee the maintenance and operation of a high-performance laboratory and office facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating facility services, managing maintenance programs, supervising vendors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical building systems in a controlled environment.
Job Responsibilities:-
- Consolidate facility activities and documentation across office services and building maintenance workstreams.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly operational reports to clients, including work status, upcoming activities, risks, and improvement initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and track preventive maintenance schedules for critical systems such as HVAC/ACMV, MAU, AHU, exhaust systems, and utilities.
- Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure timely inspections, servicing, and maintenance activities.
- Manage vendors, including quotation review, service coordination, work approvals, performance monitoring, and SLA/KPI compliance.
- Oversee consumables planning, inventory monitoring, and replenishment of maintenance materials such as filters and spare parts.
- Lead incident response during equipment breakdowns and facility emergencies, ensuring proper escalation, documentation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Supervise and support the on-site facilities team to ensure efficient daily operations and service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with workplace safety requirements, facility procedures, and client standards.
Job Requirements:-
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant facilities management experience.
- Experience in laboratory, pharmaceutical, life sciences, semiconductor, data centre, healthcare, cleanroom, or other critical environments will be an advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of ACMV/HVAC systems and building maintenance planning.
- Experience managing contractors, service providers, and maintenance vendors.
- Ability to consolidate technical documentation and prepare professional client reports.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to operational issues.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and controlled-access environments is preferred.
