Facility Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Facilities Management Lead to oversee the maintenance and operation of a high-performance laboratory and office facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating facility services, managing maintenance programs, supervising vendors, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical building systems in a controlled environment.

Job Responsibilities:-

  • Consolidate facility activities and documentation across office services and building maintenance workstreams.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly operational reports to clients, including work status, upcoming activities, risks, and improvement initiatives.
  • Plan, coordinate, and track preventive maintenance schedules for critical systems such as HVAC/ACMV, MAU, AHU, exhaust systems, and utilities.
  • Liaise with contractors and service providers to ensure timely inspections, servicing, and maintenance activities.
  • Manage vendors, including quotation review, service coordination, work approvals, performance monitoring, and SLA/KPI compliance.
  • Oversee consumables planning, inventory monitoring, and replenishment of maintenance materials such as filters and spare parts.
  • Lead incident response during equipment breakdowns and facility emergencies, ensuring proper escalation, documentation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Supervise and support the on-site facilities team to ensure efficient daily operations and service delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace safety requirements, facility procedures, and client standards.

Job Requirements:-

  • Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant facilities management experience.
  • Experience in laboratory, pharmaceutical, life sciences, semiconductor, data centre, healthcare, cleanroom, or other critical environments will be an advantage.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ACMV/HVAC systems and building maintenance planning.
  • Experience managing contractors, service providers, and maintenance vendors.
  • Ability to consolidate technical documentation and prepare professional client reports.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to operational issues.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and controlled-access environments is preferred.
