National Service – Field Sales Officer (Kumasi)


JOB PURPOSE:

You will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships with potential and existing customers within an assigned territory. You will be required to meet and exceed sales targets, build strong partnerships, and provide exceptional customer service

Candidate will support the daily marketing functions and initiatives, assisting in the planning, execution, and optimization of Marketing operations as well as supporting sales growth


JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:


  • Close new sales

  • Achieve sales targets and report on sales performance regularly

  • Establish and maintain constant contact with clients to establish good customer relationship that fosters sales.

  • Cultivate new leads within the sales territory

  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts

  • Represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions

  • Prepare and present proposals, presentations, and quotations to potential customers

  • Support sales activities for the designated products and services and guarantee the greatest level of client satisfaction.

  • Monitor and supervise marketing operations and activities in the marketing department.

  • Organize and attend events, conferences, meetings, seminars, exhibitions,

  • Analysis and feedback of sales performance

INTERNAL RELATIONS:

  • Maintains contact with all team members,

EXTERNAL RELATIONS:

  • Maintains contacts with the company’s corporate organizations, hospitals, laboratories, medical insurance companies, schools, etc., and statutory organizations in line with business as may be required.


RESPONSIBILITY FOR ASSETS:

  • Responsible for protection, conservation and efficient utilization of all ASSETS including laptops and cash assigned to the company.


COMPETENCIES:

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing from a reputable university.

  • Professional certificate from a professional body such as CIM is an added advantage.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:


  • Knowledge of marketing planning skills

  • Ability to understand marketing concepts and principles.
  • Knowledge of presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstration of excellent negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of social media platforms
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Analytical and research abilities


PERSONALITY COMPETENCIES:


  • Ability to relate effectively to people at all levels

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Assertiveness – ability to articulate viewpoints and stick to them where necessary
