About the role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of pump systems both at customer sites and in the workshop. Working in a hands-on environment, you will ensure reliable operation of equipment, support troubleshooting activities and contribute to high service quality and customer satisfaction. This role requires a practical mindset, technical expertise and a strong commitment to safety, as well as the flexibility to work across different locations and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of pumps and associated equipment at customer sites as well as in the workshop
  • Disassembly, inspection and reassembly of machinery based on defined work scopes or independently in case of unplanned repairs or troubleshooting
  • Execution of work in line with specified tolerances and manufacturer guidelines or established engineering standards
  • Performing safety assessments at the worksite (e.g. when changing activities)
  • On-site activities including coordination and supervision of customer-provided personnel when required
  • Preparation of service and repair reports as well as required documentation after completion of work
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards – both internally and at customer sites

Your Profile

  • Experience in installation, commissioning and maintenance of pumps and associated equipment
  • Hands-on experience in assembly, repair and testing of machinery – ideally also in a workshop environment
  • Good command of English and confident use of common IT tools
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Flexible and adaptable with willingness to travel
  • Team player with good communication skills and a confident presence on site
  • Ideally VCA certification and initial experience in supervising or guiding others
