Finance Executive

Job Summary

The Finance Executive will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls. This role involves a mix of accounts management, financial reporting, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, verify expense claims, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding collections from clients.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany settlements.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and schedules.
  • Maintain the General Ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurately posted.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes within strict deadlines.
  • Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings to IRAS.
  • Assist in corporate tax computations and withholding tax filings where applicable.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent (ACCA/LCCI candidates are encouraged).
  • Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero, or Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
  • High level of accuracy, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
