Finance Executive
Job Summary
The Finance Executive will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls. This role involves a mix of accounts management, financial reporting, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices, verify expense claims, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding collections from clients.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany settlements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and schedules.
- Maintain the General Ledger and ensure all journal entries are accurately posted.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes within strict deadlines.
- Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings to IRAS.
- Assist in corporate tax computations and withholding tax filings where applicable.
Requirements
- Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent (ACCA/LCCI candidates are encouraged).
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero, or Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
- High level of accuracy, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
