Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, forecasting and accurate and timely control of the financial and accounting functions within the regions.
  • Responsible for local financial statements and evaluate the impact of related actions under consideration by the Company. Responsible for all reporting using local and U.S. generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Ensure that adequate internal controls are established to safeguard the company's assets including written instructions for the taking of fixed assets, tooling and inventory, Account receivables.
  • Quarterly (monthly) review Balance Sheet items and prepare accounting entries accordingly when value is changed.
  • Manage cash flow, provide cash forecast.
  • Evaluate potential business activities such as investments, capital expenditure (payback, NPV, ROI analysis).
  • Prepare 3 years Business Plan forecast for all APAC countries (P&L, B/S, CF).
  • Monthly identify and analyze key variances (actual vs forecast) and recommend corrective actions, where applicable.
  • Provide data and drive for the sales/business profit result/goal for all APAC countries; monthly sales report analysis (sales/gross margin/by products/by customers); other FP&A on COGS / SG&A, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent), master degree is a plus.
  • More than 15 years of relevant experience in international manufacture company, 5 years’ experience at similar position. Experience in Automotive industry is a plus.
  • Familiar with Singapore, PRC and US GAAPs.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and manufacturing costing.
  • Proven analytical skills, able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers.
  • Excellent communication skills. Proven track record in building relationships and working with a various levels of people Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Fluent in both written and verbal English and Mandarin to liaise with relative parties.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skill
  • Experience on ERP (Oracle) system is a plus.
  • Familiar with Korea/Malaysia/Australia accounting standard is a plus.
  • Honest, trustable, hardworking and a good team player.
