Job Summary
We are seeking a highly capable finance operations leader to establish and lead Payroll functions. This role will oversee payroll operations governance, and compliance across multiple countries and entities.
The ideal candidate should have strong SSC experience, process migration exposure, and expertise in governance, controls, and SOX compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup and stabilization Payroll operations within the SSC
- Oversee:
- Payroll governance and controls
- Payroll accounting and reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and labor requirements
- Strengthen internal controls and maintain SOX compliance framework
- Support audits and compliance reviews
- Drive process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives
- Collaborate with HR, tax, treasury, and finance stakeholders globally
- Support ERP implementation and process migration activities
- Develop KPIs, SOPs, and governance frameworks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Payroll operations
- Shared Services Center (SSC) / GBS experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred) & Workday
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Regional or global payroll governance exposure is an advantage
